The Big Basement Band

You can already strike, blow or bow a nice tone and are you looking for atmospheric company? Then the Big Basement Band might be something for you. Together with other students from the music school you will play together in a real Big Band, of course with the accompanying music, from the Ellington and Basie repertoire, but also more modern Big Band music.

The Big Basement band rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm and consists of a rhythm section, saxophones, trumpets and trombones. In addition to classics from the Basie and Ellington repertoire, this band also plays Latin and funky pieces in which there is a lot of room for improvisation.

Admission to the big band is in consultation with your own teacher and the conductor of the big band.

Costs 240 euros ex VAT.
