The flamenco guitar owes its name to the Spanish music style flamenco. It is therefore a real Spanish guitar, with the characteristic powerful and fierce tones to create a real Spanish atmosphere. The flamenco guitar is only improvised and chords are struck in a very specific way. Over the years, the flamenco guitar was used less and less as an accompaniment guitar and more as a solo guitar.
