PIANO LESSONS (CLASSIC) IN MAASTRICHT
From Bach to the Beatles and from Alicia Keys to Coldplay, piano music is of all times and styles. It is a keyboard, percussion and string instrument. That might say enough about its versatility. If you want to discover the interplay between your fingers and feet on a piano, piano lessons with Kuma are a good start.
Go for individual guidance or a cozy group lesson in which you play the piano together. It is important that you have the opportunity to practice outside the lessons: at home or at Kuma. Renting a piano is not possible, but a digital piano with velocity-sensitive keys or purchasing a second-hand piano are options. Your teacher will be happy to advise you.

Mariëlle Westhovens
Marielle studied classical piano at the Conservatory in Maastricht and continued her studies at the Rockacademy in Tilburg. She obtained her diplomas in teaching and performing musician. To broaden her knowledge, she took part in several masterclasses by internationally renowned musicians.
Her passion lies in guiding people of all ages in the search for their own musical identity.
She has also more than earned her spurs in the music industry. She collaborated on various TV and theater productions with which she regularly toured. Worked with, among others, Alessandro Safina, The New London Chorale, Jan Smit, Nick and Simon, Danny de Munk, Lee Towers, Anita Meyer and was allowed to perform for Queen Beatrix.

Professional piano lessons with individual attention.
🎹 I started piano lessons at a young age and loved to crawl behind the piano and endlessly come up with my own songs.
Much later…… I obtained my “Teaching and Performing Musician” diplomas at the conservatory in Maastricht.
🎹 The piano has always played a big part in my life.
I also want to introduce you to this beautiful instrument and let you discover how nice it is to learn to make music well.

Henry Konsten
Henry Konsten studied composition and piano at the conservatory in Maastricht. He then took the saxophone state exam. He teaches piano and saxophone. If you would like to compose music yourself or make an arrangement of, for example, a well-known song, you can also learn that from Henry.
The musical experience of his students is central to Henry. That’s why he aligns with their musical preferences. As an accompanist of ensembles, he finds it important that people can enjoy making music together. For more information: www.konsten.nl

My name is Mojca and I’m a passionate piano teacher with a degree in piano pedagogy and piano accompaniment. My mission is to share the joy of music-making while helping students discover the full expressive potential of this beautiful instrument🎹
I offer a personalised approach tailored to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. A key part of my teaching is incorporating improvisation exercises into lessons, which not only makes learning more engaging but also helps develop a natural and more intuitive approach to music🎶
Whether you’re a complete beginner looking for a rewarding hobby or an experienced player aiming to deepen your skills, I strive to support and inspire you on your musical journey.
