BIG BAND
BIG BAND IN MAASTRICHT
You can already strike a nice tone, blow or iron and are you looking for atmospheric company? Then the Kuma Bigband might be something for you. Together with other students from the music school, you will play in a real big band, of course with the accompanying music, from the Ellington and Basie repertoire, but also more modern big band music.
In the Kuma Bigband there is room for a rhythm section, saxophones, trumpets and trombones. The big band rehearses once a week for an hour and a half on Tuesday evenings. Admission to the big band is in consultation with your own teacher and the conductor of the big band.
