FLUTE
FLUTE LESSONS IN MAASTRICHT
In the flute lesson you learn to play solo, but just as well in a duo, in a trio, in an ensemble as with a piano or in an orchestra, from Bach to pop. Enjoyment in making music is paramount.
Learning to play the flute is possible from 6 years old. For the youngest flute players there is a special course where you start with a plastic flute. Then follows the switch to a real flute. Individual flute lessons and group lessons are available for all ages. You can rent the flute through Kuma, but your teacher can also advise you on the purchase of your instrument.

From a young age I was enchanted by the flute. Such a versatile instrument with such a beautiful sound! I soon learned that the flute was THE instrument of choice for me to give voice to my musicality.
Besides a passion for the flute, I also turned out to have a passion for teaching! I have been doing this for over 25 years with great pleasure. Both at KUMA Maastricht and at Muzebox (Boxtel) and MEDEZ (Sint-Michielsgestel), but also at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg and in my own teaching practice in Tilburg. Teaching music is the best thing there is for me. Making music together is having fun and connecting together. My working method is therefore always aimed at developing potentials and qualities. I give the best of myself to get the best out of the student.
Specialism: flute, piccolo, alto and bass flute, recorder/child flute (TooT & Nuvo), ensemble playing, music theory/solfège, ensemble and chamber music coaching, audition training (e.g. for entrance exam Conservatory)
Availability: Season 2022-2023 on Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening
Rates: on request – in consultation we will put together a tailor-made lesson package.
