MUSIC LESSONS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN IN MAASTRICHT
Music makers
The music course for the young child. In the nicest room of Center Céramique Imke gives music courses to the very youngest; our music makers! The lessons are made up of fixed components, supplemented with themes that often have to do with seasons and the experience world in which the child finds himself at that moment.
Mini Music Makers 2,5 – 4 years
It all started with this course! For children aged 2.5-4 years.
Out of amazement, a music lesson for the little ones is built up. We alternate a lot with movement, playing ourselves, listening to music and singing.
This course is only for the music makers, mom and dad are going to have a cup of coffee or run an errand.
Mini Music Makers 4 – 6 years
Extra musical challenge for children aged 4-6. We will work on creating, noting and making music even more. Of course, the elements of movement, singing and listening will continue to run through this course as a common thread.

Imke Heitzer
Imke’s musical education started early. Classical singing, piano and saxophone were her first loves.
Later she was admitted to the jazz department of the conservatory in Maastricht. She graduated in 2009 as a jazz singer.
Her love for theater expressed itself in a study at the MusicAllFactory in Tilburg.
The passion to teach music steered her towards studying Music in Education at the conservatory in Maastricht. She successfully completed this training in 2020. Her essay on the young child resulted in a new course within the music school; Music makers.
Imke performs with various formations, gives singing lessons, is the head of the Music Makers department within Kuma Maastricht and works as a music teacher at the Porta Mosana College in Maastricht.
