VIOLA DA GAMBA
VIOLA DA GAMBA LESSONS IN MAASTRICHT
Just like the guitar and lute, the viola da gamba has six or seven strings and frets. The radiant sounds of this string instrument also flow beautifully with a singing voice. The viola da gamba is in any case very suitable for playing together with several ‘gambas’ or, for example, with a recorder, guitar or a harp. It also sounds wonderful with a saxophone or an accordion.
If you want to master the viola da gamba on your own, opt for individual music lessons. Enjoying the teamwork while you are learning is possible during the group lessons. You play a wide music repertoire, from the Middle Ages to contemporary music. The instrument itself is available in different sizes. You can rent the instrument or purchase it in consultation with the teacher (with a discount). From 6 years.

“The pleasure of making music and harmonious playing are paramount in my lessons.”
The choice of music ranges from very early to contemporary and improvised music on the spot. Especially the input of the student himself.
My goal is to get amateur musicians of all ages and levels to play together.
Organize projects in combination with other art forms such as dance, poetry, visual design. Invite guest lecturers to workshops to broaden or deepen knowledge and skills.
I am happy to pass on my many years of experience and the pleasure that I myself experience from making music. Come and try it once and experience what my classes are like.
